Independent artists, especially the newer ones, constantly struggle with pricing their work. Most often, they lowball the heck out it. What if they had a venue where they could get their work appraised? Not just by anyone, but people who GET creativity. People who love one-of-kind DIY products. Artists can use The Pricerie to get their stuff priced, test market prototypes and launch new products. Folks who help price stuff can trade their goodwill for discounts at various artists stores. The Pricerie in action
The Pricerie had its first real world debut at the Renegade Craft Fair at Fort Mason in San Francisco. Two art pieces from our booth The Whiteout (junk rescue) were used as guinea pigs to compare prices set by artists and the audience.
